Chief Nick L. Miglionico is pleased to inform you that on June 4th, 2020 the Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission voted to award Accreditation to the Douglas Police Department. Accreditation is a self-initiated process by which police agencies voluntarily strive to meet and maintain standards that have been established for the profession by the profession. The Mission of the Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission is to: ensure that the delivery of police services within the Commonwealth is at the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
