Monthly Health Tips
Welcome to the Board of Health Monthly Health Tips! Brought to you by the Blackstone Valley Partnership for Public Health (BVPPH) and funded by a Public Health Excellence grant from the state of Massachusetts, the Town of Douglas is pleased to provide you with this year's public health tips.
Published on a monthly basis (as the name suggests), these health tips cover a broad range of topics relevant to public health, and are typically organized to be most useful for that time-period. So, a Health Tip on tick safety would be published at the start of tick season, etc.
These health tips are intended to be a helpful guide to the public, covering the topics quickly and simply. For more details, see the reference section at the end of each Health Tip.
In addition, the BVPPH published a quarterly restaurant newsletter. This newsletter was originally created by Jeanne Gniadek at the Northbridge Board of Health, and has been expanded to provide shared information across the towns through the collaborative. These newsletters take an in-depth look at topics important for those operating and working within a food establishment.
