The Town of Douglas, Highway Department, requests SEPARATE sealed bids for DRY SCREENED SAND, PROCESSED GRAVEL, LINE PAINTING, TREE REMOVAL AND ROADSIDE BRUSHCUTTING.
Bid documents will be available beginning April 29, 2019, at the Highway Garage, 56 Main Street (Route 16), Monday thru Thursdays from 7:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.. Bid materials can also be emailed.
The Town of Douglas reserves the right to reject any and all bids in the best interest of the Town. Wage rates are subject to M.G.L., Ch. 149, S 26-260 inclusive, along with a minority employee percentage rate of not less than 5%.
Bids should be sealed and clearly marked in the lower left hand corner with the number of the specific items bid on listed. All bids for the Town of Douglas, Highway Department will be received by the Executive Administrator, Town of Douglas, 29 Depot Street, Douglas, MA 01516, until 10 AM, May 16, 2019, at which time and place all proposals will be publicly opened and read.
